Tessa Artale – Fourth/Fifth Grade Spanish Immersion

Ms. Artale teaches 4th/5th grade dual immersion. She is originally from San Francisco, though she spent most of her young adult life in Sacramento. She received her BAs in Sociology and Spanish from UC Davis and her bilingual teaching credential and Master’s in Teaching from the University of San Francisco.

When she’s not in or going to school, Ms. Artale loves to hike, read, cook, garden, and run. She has traveled all over Central and South America, including studying abroad in Chile and living with host families in rural Mexico and Costa Rica. Her favorite children’s book is La princesa vestida con una bolsa de papel (The Paper Bag Princess) by Robert Munsch. She is so glad to be a part of the Daniel Webster family and is looking forward to a wonderful year!
