Daniel Webster has a very active PTA with a strong parent community that works to support the school in many different ways. Parents are involved in everything from school climate to after-school programs, enrollment, garden & grounds, technology and more. In 2012-2013, the PTA exceeded its goal and through a combination of fundraising efforts and grantwriting, raising nearly $200,000. School Site Council (SSC)

The SSC establishes policies regarding Daniel Webster’s academic programs and determines the school’s budget.  Elections are held in the Fall for parent representatives to the SSC.  There are 8 elected members, serving for 2 years each. The SSC is made up of parents, teachers, and community members. To contact the SSC, please email If you are interested in serving on the SSC, pease contact the DW School Principal.

English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)

ELAC is a committee for parents and other community members who want to advocate for English Language Learners. The purpose is to advise the principal, school staff and the School Site Council (SSC) on programs and services for English Language Learners.  Elections for officers are held in the fall. If you are interested in joining ELAC, please contact Mercedes Garcia our current ELAC Committee Chair.
