Marcella is originally from Los Altos, CA. She received her BA with a double major in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from Dartmouth College. She discovered her passion for working in urban education when working as an intern teacher in a Pre-K classroom at Bridge Boston School in Boston, MA.
Marcella then returned to the Bay Area to work as the Reading Partners coordinator at Daniel Webster during the 2012-2013 school year. She is returning to Daniel Webster after earning her masters in elementary education and teaching credential from UC Berkeley, where she student-taught in dual-immersion classrooms in public schools in Berkeley and Oakland. She is thrilled to be back at Daniel Webster as a teacher this year.
Marcella loves cooking, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.
