Chris Telles – First Grade General Education
Mr. Chris, as he is known, comes from East Los Angeles and went to college in Los Angeles at Cal State Northridge. He is a beloved member of the Daniel Webster family, having spent all of his 16 years teaching here. Mr. Chris was inspired to pursue teaching by the people he saw in pursuit of social justice. He believes that an equitable education system can help to bring about positive change in society. He loves watching students achieve proficiency in areas that had previously proven challenging for them. He is well known for his dramatic read-aloud stories that thoroughly engage his kids.
His favorite food is tamales. His favorite book is a tie between John Kennedy Toole’s A Confederacy of Dunces and Steve Toltz’ A Fraction of the Whole.
