Room 10 – 4th Grade

Ms. Garcia was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Stanford University and her Master’s in Education and Teaching Credential from the University of Southern California.
This is her first year teaching at Daniel Webster Elementary. Her goals for this year are to engage her students in meaningful learning in all subjects and to inspire them to discover what will cultivate their love of learning. “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” (Benjamin Franklin)
She loves to dance, listen to music, and watch sports. Her favorite food is chicken and waffles. Her favorite book is “The Outsiders” by S.E. Hinton, and she is excited to be part of this educational community. DW Owls – Hoot Hoot!
