Anita Parameswaran

Room 18 – 3rd Grade

Anita Parameswaran is originally from Bakersfield, CA.  She earned her BA in political science and third world studies from the University of California, San Diego.  She received her Masters degree in International and Comparative Education from the University of California, Los Angeles and received her teaching credential from University of San Francisco.  She is in her second year at Daniel Webster Elementary and she believes that “education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world (Nelson Mandela).”
Anita enjoys South Indian Classical Dancing (Bharatanatyam), traveling, hiking and reading in her spare time.  Her favorite book is Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese.
